Well a self-install of the aux. audio plug couldn't be easier. Including tying the cable up it couldn't have taken longer than 5 minutes (well, if you subtract the time it took to recover the small nut I dropped under the gear selector).

Your spare parts guy might have trouble finding it in the Territory accessory manual, because it isn't there, but it's the same part listed for the BA Falcon, naturally (Part No. BA 289455 AA). It comes complete with step-by-step illustrated intructions.

In fact since ordering I discovered I could have made it myself for about $5 but I'm happy to pay ~$30 bucks from Ford to get all the right plugs and the instructions, I'm just glad I didn't pay another ~$35 for the install. This link to DIY Aux. input is thanks to Aaron from the Turbo Xr6 site;
