Firstly... Overall Impression.. Every Fkn pic of the Typhoon ive seen hasnt done the car justice... Even the rims grew on me... Second impression.....Didnt lke the stocky style seats.
Now the fun part..... The drive!..... Well ... take away the the split second lag you get( only apparant in First gear) and its MAGIC!. Pulls like a class room full of teenage boys watching a porno!!! It isnt a kick in the chest like a powerful V8. Its a constant kick.. If that makes sence.... Overall Im very impressed. I loved it. BUT! i wouldnt sell the GTP 4 one.... I would however if i had the money gladly own BOTH! (not that that will ever happen).
Gear box.. well..... Compared to the Holden conterpart.. Its a different box .. Its SO MUCH better.... CEPT 4 ONE THING!... Have you guys ever driven the ol holden 6 speed and reversed and then gone to go for first??? And it wouldnt go in???? Had to lift of the clutch and have another go???? The Phoon suffered that one twice. Thats about the only gripe i have. The seats, the reminder of the facts its the same box as the holden with the first gear thing, OHHH and i think its criminal that they didnt put BREMBOS on it as standard fitment!.
But they are my ownly gripes, Good points, SMOOTH, TORQUE!!!!!!!!!!!...... Lighter front end , Did i mention TORQUE!!!!?????
I think anyone whos driven a standard GT and the Phoon would know the phoon would BLO it away....
