Re: Tyre purchasing - New tyres for the Zetec after 45,000km

I wouldn't get any Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres, I have driven cars with both the D2's and D3's and over time they get extremely noisy and grip levels drop. I cannot wait to rid my car of the rubbish, and have been expediting that event.

NCT's too are terrible, I am not sure who would be crazy to pay out for them again.

I'll be strapping Michelin Pilot Precedas on my car, I took both a WRX and a Pursuit out with them on. Being non directional, they are incredibly more quiet than my Eagle F1s, and good grip levels in both wet and dry. They're my choice, and I am anal about my tires too.
