Well you know that normally means you'll forsake grip, right? In any case, a set of Sumitomo HTRZ IIs would suit the ST very well and cost peanuts, so if you get 20,000km out of a set, it's better than forking out double for a set of Contis, ay? ACtually, that's not totally true, you should get at least 35,000km out of a set, my parents just got 40,000km out of a set of Sumis.

I don't quite understand why longivity is such an issue, but that's just my opinion... if you're on a budget, buy cheaper tyres, but I wouldn't expect any longer life out of them.

Just look at the NCT5 lasting as long as it has on Matt's car. They last a long time, but doesn't mean they have a lot of grip, yet they cost the same as the tyres that grip more and wear less. I'd prefer the latter...or to pay less and have more grip and less wear, than pay less for more wear...

OK, now I'm rambling.
