Radius Arm Bushings

I am about to replace the radius arm bushings for the second time on
my '91. At about 91,000 I used NAPA poly bushings, and they are
needing replacement at about 140,000.

Any experience with the replacement rubber bushings vs Ford OEM
bushings?

And I also remember reading something about using bushings from a
Bronco. Any first hand experience there?

Thanks

When I used NAPA bushings, the poly ones too, they were shot and
making a terrible racket in less then 10K miles. Last time I replaced
em I just bought the OEM from Ford. They seemed to be missing a
spacer but I reused a spacer from the NAPA ones. What I like about
the OEM is that it's just really firm rubber but it is rubbery so when
you tighten the whole thing down it will expand slightly to wedge
itself against the sides of the hole it goes thru. I recall a post
years ago about some bronco part too and the ones I got from Ford 6
months ago looked a lot like the ones that were on my sisters old
Bronco 15 years ago so maybe that's what Ford is selling now as the
part. The ones I got had a brownish color. And they were cheaper
then NAPAs.
