Re: Ticking Noise

My brother brought a territory ghia a couple of months ago and he told me about the ticking noise when idiling and driving and that he used to turn the radio up to hide the noise.
He asked me to look at it and i found a pipe next to the engine that vibrates and gives the impression its valves or lifters.
All Barra engines tick if you lift the bonnet and listern ,but once you shut it the ticking stops.
Maybe you could suggest this to your dealer and check the pipes near the engine.
Hope it helps
