EL XR6 diff upper control arm location

Anyone noticed the 3 different location holes for the upper control arm on the diff of ELs (could be other models too). My car axle tramps quite badly and I was thinking that if I used the location furthest from the centre line of the diff it would more effectively eliminate axle tramp. Just from looking, it doesn't appear that the rear end geometry would change as the holes are positioned on an ark which corresponds with the swingout angle of the upper control arm bush. Anyone tried this or know of any positive or negative side effects?

G'day,
some EL's ran an IRS system. The extra holes are to mount this assembly.

If you change it, it won't cure your axle tramp, but it WILL alter the pinion angle, and most likely result in constant destuction of Uni joints...to start with.

There are other items out there to help with axle tramp, but I would start by looking at the condition of your suspension bushes.

Cheers
Jas
