I've just bought a 1995 XJ6 (X300) 3.2 with LPG kit fitted.
I managed to get 177 miles on the LPG from a full tank, fair enough, I
was gunning it.
everything works a treat, happy bunny.
Now I just need a cd changer, does anyone know if the ones out of
other (newer) jags fit the x300, I've seen them on ebay for the s-type
etc but I don't know if they are different.

It's red, I'll get some photos soon (bloody should, I am a
photographer!). milage is about 120k, got an OMVL LPG system with a
manual adjustment thing, 70 litre tank in the boot (in place of the
spare wheel) holding 55 litres (least that's what I put in it today
after it ran out yesterday).
I had a local LPG place that's known to be good (they usually do Land
Rovers) look over it and he said it was sorted.
Been out running around today, gotta love that climate control
air-con. need to sort out a cd player of some kind though, I like my
music for the long trips, need either a jaguar multi changer for the
boot or a different head unit.

Be VERY careful about having an "in dash" installation. (I wouldn't)
I have a '95 XJ6, and a '96 VP ..... both have the CD player / changer
installed in the trunk and work through the original Jag dash interface.

I once had an install done by "Car Toys"
(a supposedly reputable and probably the largest in the Seattle area).
It was a terrible hack job.

Be careful!
Just my $.02 - rogerj
