I have never not found it there, but I never try to use the direct link
(those seem to change frequently). Instead, I go to www.fleet.ford.com and
go through the menus. Since they have password protection on some features,
I don't feel that I am trespassing at all. If they didn't want you to go to
the manuals area, they would have password protected that as well.

Again, I think if you start out at the main page www.motorcraft.com and go
through the menus, it is always there. I just used the menus to find it, and
it is still present.

www.motorcraft.com -> "Technical Resources" from the top pull down menu ->
"Owner Information" from the menu on the left. Then you can select your
vehicle.

When I go through the menus, I see your 2nd Edition 2005 Escape Hybrid
Owner's Guide listed. Maybe you should go through the menus and kill the
bookmark to the direct link

Try entering 2005 Escape and see if the manual for the Hybrid isn't in the
list.

I've never had a problem with the MyFord site. But then I don't have
anything new or interesting

One more source for owners guides is the Ford Parts and Service Web Site.

http://www.genuineflmservice.com/ -> "Glove Box Manuals" from under the
maintenance column. You then enter your year and model. If I enter "2005
Escape Hybrid" I get nothing. However, if I just enter "2005 Escape," the
Hybrid manual is listed as one of the choices.....

http://www.downsford.com/car.htm has a link to Ford ordering guides which I
also find interesting.
