351 CID = 351 Cubic Inch Displacment - is correct.

alternativly known as -( 5800 CCs - cubic centermetres) or ( 5.8 L - litres.)

so, with a little bit of basic maths we can work out the CID of any engine with 3 pieces of information

1. Bore diameter, radius = bore/2 pi= 3.141592654 approx
2. Stroke
3. Number of cylinders

CID= number of cylinders x [( radius of cylinder*2 x pi ) x engine stroke]

example.

8 cylinders x [ 2inch radius squared x 3.141592654] x 3.5 inch stroke
8 x 12.55 x 3.5
=351 CID

voloi!

cheers
