I posted a more detailed post in the Classic Falcons Forum.

Yes street tyres. Towards the end of the day as seen on the footage down the straights, our driving had improved and they were not squealing as much. Need some more experience before going the road legal race rubber.

Yes the cameraman (me) needed to be bolted down. Even with your feet against the firewall and an arm against the door, the forces really throw you around. I took incar footage for one entire session. It's tv quality and looks and sounds awesome on the tv with the volume set appropriately.

Lap times were in the low 1:50's, which is pretty good considering it's a street car with street tyres, a street wheel alignment and beginner drivers. I let a friend of mine with a bit more experience take it for a few laps and he did a 1:52 on his second hot lap. He was confident that he could easily knock off a few more seconds.

Here is some video footage of my car at Winton in October. The picture and sound quality took a beating when uploading, but it's still worth a look.

On the new straights (car is doing about 180 km/h as it passes the camera):

Through the esses:

In car:

I just found out how much power the XR that I was chasing in the 'in car' video has and it's a hell of a lot more than I expected.
