The date code at the oil filter is not readable. It was either a poor job
at the factory from day one, or someone didn't want me to know what it is.
I'll try to do a pencil rubbing across it to see if that brings anything out
I can decipher.
The car was produced on April 11, 1969.
Yep, it's a stick. It has a 4 speed, wide ratio toploader transmission.
