Problem 98 Ford Escort LX 2.0L SOHC

98 Ford Escort LX 2.0L SOHC

Engine turns over.
Fuel pump is working, it's priming fuel to the injestors.
Wasn't getting a spark out of my Bosh Plat plugs so I changed them to autolite 5144
Engine starts like it's going to start up but sounds like it's out of time.

I just recenly about 8 months ago put on a new timing belt and uni-belt.
It's been in time and working fine until today.

Going to pull the time belt cover off and check to see if the belt has stretched.
All fusses are fine, getting spark out of all four spark plugs when I checked.
Not finding any problem with the electrical system..

Anyone have any ideas?
