I don't think an aluminum block is necessary for that power range.
Nor is a roller cam, really. I'd build around a 431-inch 390. If your
existing engine runs OK for now, I would take the sneaky route and hunt
around for 360 truck engine in a junkyard to build on the side. The
yard guys usually can't give those away. But, it will give you a
390-bore block that you can start building up a stroker on the side for
cheap without disabling the Mach.
I can probably spec out the whole motor for you.
