That it was an HCS at all. Eventhough THAT was the only reason I bought it.
I had an eye on a running '69 coupe or the HCS. I picked the HCS because of
its rarity and his impramatur on it.

The HCS's were all built in San Jose. Mine in Dearborn. Scheduled build date
was 1 day before public release of the HCS's. build date of 22G. The cars
were released on 23G and my car sold about 1 month later.

Nope it doesn't pay dick, course I have a higher security clearance than
when I was in the AF, but I get paid about half as much. All the crap you
have to know to do this job and the extensive training and crap just to keep
this nation safe from those mother****ers overseas who want to kill us, and
the goddamn airport window washers make $5 more an hour than I do. Is that
****ed up or what!?!?!
No frustration there huh.
Yep, daily driver is the 'Chero. It's about to fall apart on me too. The
only reliable thing in the car is the drivetrain. Rebuilt both the motor and
tranny in the last 2 years along with a bullet proof 9" out back. The rest
is slowly rusting away or failing due to old age. 13mpg.
