Re: Anything new of Cruise Control recall fix?
I also got a card from Ford last month (L.I., Nu Yawk) that stated along the
lines that the repair part that was supposed to be available to the dealer
by November was unfortunately not going to be available until March 06, and
that if I haven't had my cruise control disconnected yet, I should visit a
dealer ASAP and have it done.
I don't know about anyone else, but I did have the disconnect done. I
cannot afford taking time off work for two separate trips to the dealer. I
check the master cylinder once a month to make sure it's not dripping any
fluid on the wires, and it's clean and as dry as a bone. It's been fine for
7 years, so I think it'll be fine for a few more months. Maybe I'm wrong,
but I don't panic at recalls....
