It's flat out THE best paint on the planet for auto's!!! 'Course that's just
my opinion. Here's a few pics to show you what it looks like after 2 base
coats and 3 clears, no wet sanding done yet. It's glass and perfectly smooth
even BEFORE the wet sand. Very deep.

This is after wet sanding a year later and only 1 coat of wax that whole
time.

If any of you guys hang out at www.mustangsteve.com or his FYI group. This
pic was chosen to be the cover for the calendar he publishes, again, my car,

The thing with Sikkens is that it's not only shiny, but has depth, there is
a difference. Especially if you get the good stuff. The base white single
stage paint that was used to do the hood stripe cost like $130/pint not
counting the hardener and all the rest. This was the HIGH HIGH HIGH end
stuff.

Another nice thing is that have tinted primers so you can use less base coat
for coverage. The thicker the paint the more chances of having problems. The
clearcoat is where the money's at. At least on my car.

Sikkens also has the best colormatching program in existence.

Here's link to a forum where some professional painters were comparing
Sikkens with PPG.
