Having converted a pre EFI-Bronco and a pre-EFI F-150 to EFI I can tell you
that you have the best possible scenario.
It is a TON of work and EFI rocks, but faced with the choice of doing it
again and just buying a factory EFI truck I would just buy another truck.

You will need a complete wiring diagram for each truck.
You will need the EFI Engine, maybe transmission, depending on the
differences between the two.
You will need the computer and all the front wiring harness from the EFI
truck, although you will end up only actually needing the engine and sensor
parts, I disassembled both wiring harnesses and combined only the needed
parts.
You will need the entire EFI trucks pressurized fuel system supply and
return lines, pumps, tanks, maybe gauges. My 82 F-150 had opposite and
different resistances than the '92 donor truck, so I adapted the gauge
cluster to accommodate the '92 gauge in the '82 cluster. Between 83-85,
your gauge should work. my 82 bronco's worked with '86 donor parts.
I would use the exhaust system from the EFI truck if you can. Or you will
have to have an O2 sensor port welded into the non EFI exhaust system.

It is amazing how many parts are interchangeable. The '82 has
air-conditioning parts form '82 & '92 mixed and matched, and never leaked,
still works today for they guy I sold it to.
