Is the "turbo" performance compromised when the ambient temp is @ 30+ degrees C.

No doubt the Typhoon will get knocked around somewhat by high ambient temps but the front mount intercooler helps a little. Maybe a water spray unit like the WRX STi's run could also be useful at the drags. GT will be affected as well, but not to the same extent but not sure if that would be enough for it to catch up = maybe @ 45 degrees ambient.
The cooler weather makes the air more dense, hence more oxygen in the cylinder chamber and bigger bang for those who were wondering.
