Minimum smartlock install

I got a 1DEC ECU which is smartlock (it won't run in my EB Fairmont when I tried it out). What are the minimum components required to get this to work in a hot-rod application. All I am trying to do is get the ECU to start and run. I assume I will need the smartlock module and ignition switch and wiring harness. Will this be enough?

I've read about the castle autoelectric box, but at AU$300 it's cheaper to go with a non-smartlock ecu instead.

Thanks
Tris
