As have so many of the Great Ones... One I was really happy for was
Roy Orbison. Semi popular in his day, faded out, and came back big
time, only to die.... but he died on top instead of a faded has been.
And they could actually sing, not just talk in rhyme or scream.
Slowly but surely, I am rebuilding all my old record (you know.. that
plastic vinyl stiff with the groves on both sides: 0 ) collection with
reissues on CD. Unfortunately, a number of them are no longer
available.
