94 Ranger parking break problems
I recently bought a 1994 Ranger 4x4 and noticed that the parking break
barely works. I can push it to the last notch and it just holds a
little bit. I attempted to adjust it and noticed there is some sort of
ratchet-type system in the pedal. Is this how it is adjusted? Can these
pedals fail? I had it working briefly but now I'm back to square one.
It has new cables so that is not the problem. Is this a common problem?
