On the subject of GTs I have just bought a brand new BA mark 2 with a 6 speed manual. I was planning on buying and XR8 this year but the GT was a great deal. Pick it up next week and cant wait. Its my first V8 so I am glad I got something different than an XR8 as in NZ you dont see that many GTs.

There's not that many FPV's going around Adeliade either, but plenty XR6's. Must be it due to being Holdens factory home etc.
Sorry to be a little off topic but what made you go from a XR6T to the V8?
