Believe it or not, the electronics actually makes things much simpler.. for
us computer geeks, anyway. Imagine having to deal with about twice as much
vaccum plumbing as you had in the seventies...

I quit working on my cars UNTIL full elect. injection came along.

And.... it would help to know which engine.

And take a good look at the wiring harnesses... make sure none are frayed
or rubbing. Your fault codes indicate that the reference voltage is being
shorted.... or that, perhaps, the PCM itself is gone.
