You can get a Ford repair manual on eBay for around $10 (including
shipping). There is some information on www.autozone.com but it is limited
and not thorough. Some more instructions for repairs can be found at
http://draco.acs.uci.edu/explorer/

You might also want to try www.ford-trucks.com They have an
Explorer/Mountaineer forum and lots of discussions on repairing Explorers
but I find their "search" engine to be lacking.
