Exclamation Wheel bearings

I just replaced the wheel bearings in my 88 bronco on both sides. I started smelling the smell of burnt grease and it was coming from my left front. I replaced the bearings again thinking I might have a mismatched set. The new ones are doing the exact same thing. The caliper is brand new and is not sticking. The spindle looks to be in good condition. When I feel the hub after driving and it is smoking it is cool to the touch. It is not hot at all. I have no idea what is going on. Does anyone have an Idea of what might be going on? Thanks
