This has just happened with my wifes 98 expedition with the 5.4 ltr triton. More then likely you have moisture (i spelt that wrong i think) within your coil packs or a possible a bad fuel injector. 1 st we changed plugs thinking it was that but then it gotten worse. Unfortunately for her, 3 fuel injectors had went bad along with three coil packs (moisture). After $480.00 later. All was well. It'll be one of those 2 things.
