Nitrogen Improves Fuel Economy

Branick Industries, a leader in Nitrogen Tire Inflation Systems in the US and Canada, is pleased to announce that Allen Tire of Lakewood, CA has added Branick nitrogen systems to all of their 20 locations in Southern California.

"Nitrogen inflated tires improve a vehicle's performance, extend tire life and improve fuel economy by maintaining... proper inflation pressure 3 to 4 times longer than regular compressed air," said Gil Schoener, President of Branick Industries in a press release.

Nitrogen is also good for the environment and safety. Properly inflated tires improve rolling resistance, last longer and require less fuel. That translates to fewer emissions, less tire disposal issues and less dependence on foreign oil. Not only that, the Rubber Manufacturers Association says that under-inflated tires are the leading cause of all vehicle accidents.

Allen Tire went from a single location in Lakewood to one of the State's prominent tire dealers with 20 locations throughout Southern California. For a listing of all locations, visit http://www.allentireco.com/locations.htm. (Sorry, California only!)

You can learn more about nitrogen from the Get Nitrogen Institute at www.getnitrogen.org. This web site offers a nitrogen locator to help consumers find environmentally-conscious tire centers offering nitrogen to the public in the U.S. and Canada.

I plugged in my area and found out I can get my tires inflated with nitrogen at Costco Tire Centers. Who knew?
