confused argh 1990 bornco 2 wont start

Ok heres the deal:
i have a 1990 Bronco II, 2.9l v6, automatic transmision, 4 wheel drive. one daythe truck stops working and we found that there was no fuel at the fuel rail. we replaced the fuel pump and that didnt solve the problem so we ran a positive lead to the battery and voila, the fuel pump worked but the truck still wouldn't start, to make a verry long weekend short we replaced plugs, wires, and the computer, checked the compression, fuel injectors, cap, rotor, and timing. i probably forgot half the stuff we've tried but the long story short is that we have spark and fuel, the timing is dead on but the truck just wont start. well i hope that someone else has encountered a similar problem (and by no means would i wish this upon anyone else) or atleast has a few other ideas we haven't tried.
thanks for all the help.
