Is this for a street car? If it is forget the brace unless you run a lot of hp and a violent drive train.

If you need a brace fitted it has to be done out of the car. It needs to be straightened first; put in a jig then braced and fully welded.
It is a fair bit of trouble but if you weld it in the car you'll find out what trouble really means.
