Brake information on 1991

The front wheel brake hose broke and I took it to the local repair shop and was told that the fitting were badly rusted and a bracket had to be fabricated and would cost big bucks. Having worked on cars in my youth I am thinking about possibily doing the work myself since I am retired and have plenty of time on my hands. I only put about 100 miles a year on the truck so it is not really worth buying another truck mainly to put my boat in the water twice a year.
My question is, I need to find out how to identify the parts I need to replace the defective hose fittings.
The motor appears to be in great shape and in recent years I have replaced a lot of parts that one would expect with a truck this old.
Any help or information would be appreciated
