If the line that threads into the new hose is siezed/rusted up, then I would make a new line for it. You normally cannot buy a factory bent line for a truck that old, but if you remove the entire line, buy one that same length or close at a parts store (check thread size) and carefully bent and shape the line to fit.
As far as the bracket goes, just make something to secure the line to the chassis.
