95 Explorer 4x4 Lights Flashing
I have a 95 Explorer and took notice that when I drive for a few miles with 4 wheel drive engaged the 4 wheel drive lights on the instrument cluster start flashing on and off a few times then go off altogether. The 4 wheel drive still seems to be engaged though, the lights will continue to flash a few times every so often until I disengage the 4 wheel drive. Any idea as to what this is?
I had a similar problem with the OD light flashing, Ford said it needed a computer update which they did at the cost of $450. Thankfully it did correct that problem though.
