kdfarms Registered User Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 1	Motor Idles high My father in law took his ford 1991 f-150 (302)to get it worked on. The problem is that it idles at 3000 rpm's. The mechanic said that he can't figure out what is wrong. Does anybody out there know how to fix this? Also, when his transmission shifts from d to od it shifts really hard.
