91 f150 ecu
I have a 91 f150 4.9l 5 speed and have a problem thats been stumping me for some time...it happens at idle or while i am driving...if i am at idle the check engine light comes on and if i hit the gas it stalls//also when you turn the key on when this happens the fuel pump will run all the time instead of running for the normal 3-4 seconds///if i am driving and the light comes on it will cut off unless i keep the engine above 3000 rpm///i do this by shifting to a lower gear very quickly and than keep driving////there is no specific time this happens///it could be cold hot wet dry and it may happen 5 time a day or once every 6 months//started about 2 years ago///i have replaced the fuel pump and ecu relay and it still happens///the ecu is storing no codes
any body got any ideas
