This isn't exactly what you're looking for but thought I might as well add something...
I drive a 2003 (Mark 4?) 1.4 TDCi Fiesta (claimed combined MPG 62.8 I believe) and saw 61.8 out of my last tank, which was around 75% motorway mileage at 65-70mph.
My first tank which was a little more mixed came out to 56, plus I was a bit right foot heavy due to it being new (to me).
I've heard the 1.6 TDCi engine in a Fiesta is actually more fuel efficient than the 1.4, but not sure how the 1.8 goes.
Either way, it seems the actual motorway mpg ends up pretty similar to what the claimed combined is... if that makes sense!
