Re: High mileage F-150 rear end trouble

Replacing the axle bearings is a good idea. With that many miles on it, a good chance that the noise is coming from the bearings.

It would be a good idea to drain the rear-end also and add new gear lube.

Have you check the rear-end lube level to make sure its got plenty in it?
