Re: 2003 EXP. E.B. 5.4 rough idle
Latest update - cylinder 5 misfire. By luck I went to unplug the disconnect and one wire with a crimp popped out of the disconnect. After putting the crimped terminal back into the plastic connector that plugs into the coil, I haven't had any problems and have put 15000 miles on the truck. I did pull the number 5 cyclinder plug and clean the carbon build up off because of the misfiring.
If anyone gets this rough idle problem, you should check each of the two wires that go into the plastic and rubber connector that plugs into the coil by tugging on this lightly.
This little wire saved me tons of money and headaches trying to figure out what was wrong.
