Registered User Join Date: Apr 2003 Location: UK Posts: 685	Re: Battery warning light on (Ka) Hi mate, yes they both drive off the same belt, some noise is normal especially on a lock, but you may wish to check the PAS fluid level. If the battery hasn't gone flat, it's most likely the 'smart charge' 3-pin plug on the alternator has a broken wire.
