billj Registered User Join Date: Oct 2006 Posts: 9	Best weight oil for 2005 Ford Escape I have a 2005 Forsd Escape with the 2.3l, 2WD, automatic transmision, 24,000 miles. I change oil and filter every 3-4 months, never over 4,000 miles between changes. I use Motorcraft Synthetic Blend oil. I live in Florida and 90+ temperatures are normal. The coldest it ever gets is the upper 20's, and that is very rare. What is the best weight oil for my area?
