I ended up fixing the problem by replacing the bank 2, 1st oxygen sensor. This sensor is locating in the engine compartment, driver side, under the exhaust manifold. It is inserted into the exhaust line before the catalytic converter.
I had to put the truck on a lift in order to get to the O2 sensor.
Total cost: $60
Estimated repair time: < 5 minutes (after lifting car and locating part)
