bluexd Registered User Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Melbourne - North Dandenong Posts: 4	Question on adjusting steering box - XD Ford. Question to any one that can assist. I have a 1981 Ford Xd factory V8, with power steering. I would like to remove some slack in the steering. With all other previous cars that I have completed this procedure the adjustment nut/locking nut in clear view. What do you adjust on these boxes? Don't seem to be able to locate anything in the 'normal' place. (ps. all other bits eg. ball joints/tie rods/ idler/etc have been replaced)
