3.9L head gives a much better compression ratio and is suitable for the EEC4 ( EA computer ), my main concern is with valve timming, i have built one of theese engines before with ~170-180 kW useing the ED XR6 camshaft but the engine timming was a little unorthadox. I want to get it right this time.

PS. I'm not looking at replaceing the engine, just want to update with the EF crank and pistons wich have the added side effect of heaps of compression when the smaller cc ( 3.9L head ) is bolted onto it. BTW the S pack has an S spec head wich can be identified by the 3.9L S signature on the front of the head
