Cold air intake, freer flowing exhaust, synthetic oil, and no leadfooting, maybe you will get the improvement you're looking for. Try to keep it in 5th gear as long as possible and hold a steady speed. 45-65 MPH is the best speed range to stay in. anything over or under wastes fuel.
