Re: Ford taking advantage of me? They want to refund my warranty... I need some advice.
I like warranties on used cars that I buy. But you have owned this car. How many miles have you driven it? Isn't it a pretty reliable car? The dealer has taken it on the chin for you, or at least offered to. Why would you want to loose this car and jump into another unknown? I sure wouldn't. I'd take the money back, take the repair and go pay down the car loan. Or bank it in the savings for a rainy day repair should that pop up. I wish the dealership offered the warranty money back on my last three cars. I never used the warranty on one. Used only about half on the other. And the pickup maybe about one third of the money invested in the warranty was used. All before the warranties expired. Take the money. They are doing you a favor.
