LMB Registered User Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 1	08 Escape mileage...."Break-in Period"? I purchased an '08 Escape XLT, FWD 3.0L V6 today. It used to be said that a new vehicle's gas mileage increases as the auto is driven for a given amount of miles and becomes "broken in". Is that a realistic expectation? If so, what is the target mileage? Thanks, LMB
