then if its only little mod work then u would put a 350 holley on nothing bigger, with an after market manifold like redline or something like that and a decent tune u will be set. u wont be making any big hp but u will be better than u are currently, try a differnt diff ratio and maybe a a t5 manual conversion, these mods are very common for the xfs and many people are doin g these mods them selves at home and prety cheaply, with a combo like that u will be alot quicker, but again with out major engine work u wont be crazily fast but u will be suprised how well your car will go with a few simple mods and a few conversions, im guessing u are currently auto? is so then maybe consider the t5 manual conversion, the web adress i gave you before will be able to give u advice on how to fit these things your self, this forum is good also but xfords.com is a forum just for xd-xe-xf's, so might be worth checking it out
