93glexplorer Registered User Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 5	Squeeling and/or whinning i have a 93 explorer. sometimes when i start it there is a whining and or squeeling sounds that are coming from the front of the engine. could this be something with the alternator or with a belt or somthing? it goes away usually after the vehicle has warmed up or if i accellerate. any ideas?
