Re: Changed Timing Belt and Now Have Trouble?

If the starter motor does not turn the engine over, check the ground wire to the engine block, the clutch cutout switch (you have to press the clutch pedal to crank), and the wires at the solenoid. You can jump around the solenoid, but its pretty sparky... You can manually bypass the interior switches by jumping from the large hot wire on the solenoid to the small press-on connector. That will energize the solenoid, and send power to the starter motor.
