Try this first if it's just a simple cable connection problem. Disconnect the battery. Spray WD-40 onto/into the connector(s) on both driver and passenger seats. Spray a small quantity on both parts (male and female) connector sides (Keep thing neat and use a towel so you don't over-spray under the seats). Push the connectors together/apart a few times, locking and unlocking the connectors to get a good connection between the two parts. Connect/lock both connectors. Connect the battery and start the engine - the light should be off. Worked for me....... :-)
